Who would emerge victorious in a "Hunger Games" style competition between all the princesses? Of course, the first thought is Merida because she knows how to use a weapon. But Cinderella's pretty fast, maybe she could swipe the bow and arrow first. Surely Belle would be cunning and Snow White has her own army. Aurora could lower her heart rate and make you think she was dead just to escape for the moment. Also, I would pay to see the princess in the Town Square Theater throw down. Rapunzel's at the biggest disadvantage with all that pull-able hair.

I think Rapunzel could kick everyone's butt and still have time to make pancakes (and the right tool, too!). :thumbsup2

Mulan. Did you see that girl fight for China?

I was about to say Mulan. I could also see Belle winning - that girl is tough and smart.

I'm going with Pocahontas.

Though Mulan, Merida, and Rapunzel would certainly be a good match up!

I'm thinking Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Belle won't last ten seconds. They'll be easily picked off... Cinderella and Snow White will be caught unawares as they wait for their princes to come, Ariel will just mope about not having what she would like for the games, and Belle would find her interest in books to end up being lethal (situational awareness matters). I'm also thinking Jasmine wouldn't bring much to the field either, but Aladdin might swoop in on the carpet and save her, so she'd be off the field quickly.

Mulan would make a good showing, but she's going to need to get in close to use that sword... Rapunzel will have a good medium range attack with that hair, but that's about it. I can see her tying up Mulan as Merida rides by and turns them into human pincushions from the back of her horse.

Does everyone forget that Cinderella can summon the animals to do her bidding? She wouldn't need a bow, she wouldn't starve, she'd have flocks of killer birds attacking Mulan with time to tidy up the forest to spare...

Going with Merida. Good with a bow, an "outdoor" girl, and a redhead...you never know what to expect from them.

I'm definitely going with Rapunzel. You don't want to cross her (as shown when she realized her "mom" wasn't her mom) , liked by everyone, she has the frying pan, and I see the hair as an asset! :thumbsup2

I'm choosing Rapunzel. She just seems the most capable of winning, and her hair can be used as a whip, but instead of metal bits on the end...a frying pan.:)

By the way, awesome thread, acamusic!:rotfl:

I'd have to go with Pocahontas. Weapon skills are good to have but unless you have the survival skills to go with them you aren't going to last long.

Agreed. Assuming, like the Hunger Games, the weapons would be controlled (thus eliminating magic carpet, princes, sidekicks, etc), Pocahontas has the "live off the land" thing down pat.

Princess Eilonwy... no one knows who she is so she'll be essentially ignored and can wait for the others to knock each other out before coming in at the end.

And then she can come in for the win once the others are weak and tired.

Thank you Wikipedia:

"Although having been trained as a sorceress and not a warrior, she is quite capable of using various kinds of weapons, particularly the sword, bow and spear. Even when unarmed, she will fight like a wildcat (i.e. scratching, biting, and kicking) until incapacitated."
