I am of the World in May of 2004. This will be our first trip with kids. Nieces 6 and 9. I am considering adding the Prince and Princess package onto our existing reservation.

Has anyone purchased this before and more speccifically used the special seating that is part of it? I am curious as to how the seating works. Are there special sections, do you still need to stand in line, do you have some sort of pass...etc?

thanks for help

I am going to move this over to the dining board where you might get an answer

As I was looking to book this also I asked for info. I was under the impression that the special seating was for certain shows not restaurants. Of course I am no expert. I also think its new starting in 2004 so no one will have tries it before.
Mousesavers.com has info on it.

NEW for 2004 is the Princess and Prince add-on, which is intended for families with children 9 and younger. It includes all of the regular components of the Dream Maker package, plus:

- breakfast feature (1 per person)
- special seating at select shows at Disney-MGM Studios & Animal Kingdom
- $50 in Disney dollars for each child in the party under 9 years of age

A family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 3-9) would pay $172 extra for this add-on. Such a family would get full value from the add-on only by using the breakfast feature for one of the two most expensive character breakfasts (either Cinderella's Royal Table or the Princess Breakfast in Epcot).

The Dream Maker package is the "base model" package that includes theme park passes. It includes accommodations at a Walt Disney World resort hotel and Ultimate Park Hopper passes, plus a pin and lanyard (two per party/room), luggage tags and one "choice" feature. You can see details here.

Unlike past years' packages, which generally had inflated prices that often bore little or no relationship to the cost of the separate components of the package, Disney now prices the Dream Maker package at or below the "rack rate" cost of the room plus the advance purchase price of Ultimate Hopper passes. The pin and "extra" feature are therefore "free." However, see above for details about why this still might not be such a great deal, depending on your circumstances.
