I can't believe more people would pick 50's for lunch over SCi-Fi. Maybe it's just us, be we have never had a bad meal at Sci-Fi. Onion rings, burgers, milk shakes-all very good. Love the atmosphere. We have never had bad service there. It's especially wonderful to go in there when its super hot/sunny because you feel like you are tranformed to a cool night complete with a stary sky. The burgers are really very big and tasty. I can't comment on the dinner menu, but for lunch it's perfect.
Primetime on the other hand, well it's not good. Service was horrendous last May. 3 hours for lunch! Yes, you read that correctly, 3 hours! We were a party of 7. Our 5 plus my in-laws. 40 minutes to get our checks-the first two times she brought us the checks they were totally wrong. The third time, one of our meals was still on my MIL's check but the rest was correct. I just offered to pay MIL cash for the food (even though we were on the deluxe dining plan and my inlaws were not. I couldn't bear the thought of her leaving for another 10 minutes. Plus, who knew what she'd come back with. It could have been worse!
Most importantly, the food was very, very bland and just not that good. Some of it was lukewarm and some of it seemed like it was under heat lamps a little too long. Two in our party had the meatloaf, one had fried chicken, one had pot rast, one had a sandwich of some sort and I had the ceasar salad. It's the same ceasar salad you can get at Cosmic Rays. Everyone in our part thought it was the best thing at our table. The desserts were pretty good, but not worth how long we waited for them. Worst meal/service of our trip.
