What are some of the 'punishments' that you have been made to do?

My husband made a paper airplane out of the childrens menu one year. Just as our "Aunt" was walking by he "accidently" threw if across the table. She then proceeded to make him stand in the corner with his nose against the wall. When the other "family members" (servers) walked by they would say things like "shame shame shame" or "what did you do? you must have been a bad boy". Our two daughters (and myself) thought it was hysterical...and my husband was having fun with it too.

oh this is going to be a cute thread...

we've never been "punished" per-se...we've had the same 'sassy' waitress twice...and we were 'sassy' right back...she loved it.

but I have seen alot of fun stuff.

Once an elderly gentleman hid food (half a sandwhich) in his shirt pocket...his "cousin" (server) saw it...made a big production of pulling it out (the gentleman totally hammed it up, hung his head in shame and all) then was made to stand in the corner.

and I've seen a lot of "airplane feedings"...servers getting a forkful of veggies, making airplane noises and saying "open up the magic kingdom, Mickey wants his beans..."

It's really cute. DH and I LOVE this place...great atmosphere to people watch. (it's just the two of us right now...so I think that's why we don't get "picked on" too much.

I have seen some foreigners stare at their server in horror/confusion when told to set their table.

You really have to have a sense of humor in a place like this...and just remember...no one can MAKE you finish your meal...people who feel they have been "forced" to clean their plates just have to stand up for themselves and laugh the whole thing off.

it is more fun when you are with a bigger group.
last year, i was pushed on the chair to another room and another table for "talking back". It was fun, the other family i met at the "new" table were from PA too, only one hour from my home.
My son and his friend were sent to the kitchen with the dirty dishes because they tried to hide their green beans. (actually, they were heading to the bathroom with their beans wrapped in a napkin) - needless to say, the whole restaurant knew about it.
We really had a good time, and so did our friends, who had never been to the Prime Time.

DH and I were celebrating our anniversary and cousin Topher brought out a celebratory cupcake. He cut it in half and had hubby and I feed each other a bite like we did with our wedding cake. Needless to say, I had cupcake up my nose and in my hair when all was said and done. PICS:

It was hilarious.

Last trip with my Mom, our waiter made me walk around singing happy birthday to various people at different times while I was trying to eat. He even took other people's cameras and was taking pictures of me with these strangers. BTW -- I'm a TERRIBLE singer!

CRSNDSNY - those pictures are so dang cute!!!

and it kinda reminds me of my wedding...hehehe. We had a "cupcake cake"...and well, DH got a little excited with the frosting! hehehe

We love 50's Prime Time. We've had 'Cousin Chris' feed my dd, then 8, her french fries to the tune 'Prince Ali'. Very cute.
Then he saw my elbows on the table. I had to write an essay, on my napking, as to why one should never put their elbows on the table.
Our dd and her friend were quizzed when they returned from the ladies room as to what color the hand soap was. If they didn't get it right, then back they would have to go and wash their hands. They answered correctly. phew.

The last time we were there my sister got in trouble and had to get up and sing I'm a little teapot. It was great fun but agree you have to go with the flow to enjoy it.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
