Does the Prime Time cafe have side dishes and desserts that one can stop in to snack on for the experience of the restaurant without having to pay for a whole sit down meal and/or using up a TS from the dining plan?
Well, they have appetizers and desserts, I don't know about separately-priced side dishes...
But as with most restaurants, sure, you can order just an app and/or salad and/or soup and/or dessert - few restaurants will force you to order an entree.
Also, nobody will make you use your table service credit for any meal. Until you tell them, the restaurant has no idea that you're even on the dining plan.
Funny you mention that! My favorite food at 50's Prime Time was the appetizer and dessert. I didn't care for my entree (pot roast had too many onions & carrots drizzled over the top) but I LOVED the fried herb cheese appetizer and my pb&j shake for dessert. Next time we go, I'm just going to get the fried cheese but I think this time I'll try the smores dessert- or dad's super sundae... see the problem? Too many good desserts. I'm also not wasting a TS credit on this, so I'll pay out of pocket for mine since I'm not getting the entree.
