Prime Time 50s cafe

I really love the meatloaf dinner at 50's with their chicken noodle soup as an appetizer. My DW likes the pot roast.

I agree with many of the other posters. This is one of my NEW favorites. I also like the meat loaf and don't usually eat it anywhere else! It is a fun place with cool desserts. I will go back here next trip for sure!

We were there in Octoboer. Food was good. I had pot roast, don't remember what DH had. The atmosphere was AWESOME. We had a great server, Manny. We really played it up. I actually got sent to the corner (yes, in the restaurant) for tattling one too many times. Needless to say, the kids found this extremely hilarious. :rotfl: They still talk about it. So for those of you who were there Friday, October 7 at the noon hour, that was me in the corner. :wave2:

We ate there last month. We had been there once before several years ago. I actually didn't care for it and wouldn't return.

The place is rather cramped and loud. We were practically on top of the people next to us.

The food is good - no complaints there at all. But it is way overpriced for what you get. I had the fish sandwich which was over $13 and was just a sandwich and fries(I substituted mashed potatoes). For just $6 more, I could have done a character buffet like Crystal Palace and had an all-you-can-eat full course meal. Just not a good value at all IMO. DW had the stuffed pepper for $12.50. Again, she said it was very tasty, but not worth the price.

Its a fun experience to do once, but I wouldn't repeat it.

We loved this restaurant... many thanks to all the Disers who recommended it :teeth: I loved the fried chicken, DH loved his meatloaf :earboy2:

The electric drinks are also yummy

We were lucky, and got "Mom" - :teeth: we never did finish our homework though

Have fun there! :earboy2:

We ate there this past Sept and will return again in Feb. If you like Salmon my DH and MIL says it is one of the best they have ever had. The Sundae ares great too. We had a party of 6 and we had the chicken, meat loaf and the roast beef a well as the Salmon. Everything was great and we all had a great time. From the ages of 4 , 22 , 49 and 69 :flower:
