Prime Rib

Where's the best that's not signature, and that wouldn't be too fancy for a 9 year old. We have reservations for Le Cellier for lunch one day, but where is the best prime rib at disney?

Our prime rib loving daughter praises YSH (2 credits) and Kona Cafe (1 credit). She finds Le Cellier to be too salty. She also loved it at R&C as did our DS1 but unfortunately it is no longer on their menu.

CSR - Pepper Market, Prime Rib every night. Price is $18.95, and boy is it good.

My DH would certainly agree with this. I think he ate one whole animal by himself, and this from the guy who thought eating at Boma would mean eating grass, and bark! He loved the place!

Boatwrights also gets very good feedback for their prime rib dinner.

Believe it or not, Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare both usually have prime rib on the dinner buffet. And you can keep going back to get more. My husband makes it his food of choice when we eat there.

I have had the prime rib at Kona several times and have always enjoyed it. As others have mentioned - at the buffets, Boma has good prime rib and some interesting sauces to go with it. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prime rib at Crystal Palace - not as good as Kona, but good for a buffet (probably as good as Boma).

DD and DH had the best prime rib we've ever tasted at Le Cellier, but it's offered at dinner time only.

I didn't care for the prime rib at Kona. It was VERY fatty. I did however enjoy it at the concourse steakhouse. I tend to stick with the filet at le cellier.

Hhhm my mouth is watering, I love prime rib and plan on eating at CP and Concourse DD loves Strip steak I know CP wouldn't have thaT BUT DOES cONCOURSE AND HOW IS IT?????

As long as we are on the topic, can anyone please tell me if the restaurants(not buffets) generally have "rare" (red, like near raw) prime rib? Thanks.

As for the 'rare', I sure hope so, that's the only way to eat it!!

Thanks to all for the help. I never would have thought of Boma, so we've added that. Is 1900 Park Fair like the CRT's breakfast, as in, no chance if it's 179 days out? We don't want to see Cindy, but I want to try the strawberry soup everyone raves about!

I was able to get mine medium at both Kona and Concourse Steakhouse.

It was cooked to true medium, not too rare. Mmmm, now I want prime rib......for breakfast..........
