Pride Rock at AK

When entering AK make sure to take a moment to stop at Pride Rock. For the rerelease of The Lion King they have made a huge Pride Rock with Simba on it and it is at the entrance. You can catch Rafiki and Timon in front of it for pictures.

Not sure, it looks like it's out for the rerelease of Lion King which is is October so it might be down by then.

Thank you for that tip. My DD is a Lion King fan and with the Lion King show being closed for rehab (on last look it was) at AK I was going to ask what Lion King-related events/shows/displays we could go see.

Hey BoxerMom7, you won't be able to miss it. They have Lion King music playing and it is a big Pride Rock. They also have a cart out selling Lion King items and you can preorder the Lion King Movie. When we were entering the park it was just Rafiki but when we were leaving it was Rafiki and Timon.
