I've rented again from scooterama.i got a pride revo.im wondering how easy it will be to dis and re assemble?this trip we brought a car and I'm thinking of using it to avoid the hassle of the buses.Does anyone have any ideas on how to make parking the scooter on the bus easier?

The Revo is pretty heavy but it is pretty easy to get into a trunk. Not much disassembly needed.

Practice parking, the Revo is pretty easy to park. You can also turn it off and unlock the back wheel, and push it into place.

It is easy to take apart but the rear wheel assembly is close to 50 pounds a plus I believe the battery pack also heavy can be brought to the room for charging I believe you don't have to take the whole scooter to the room

Looking at the online owner's manual, it can be disassembled, but it's not quite as simple as the travel models like the GoGo. And the front section is up to 51 lbs.

The batteries can be charged off the scooter, but it has a dual battery back. Both halves must be removed and reconnected before charging.

The suggestion to get off and push the scooter into position on the bus is a good one, if you're physically able or have someone to help. Ride the scooter up the ramp onto the bus and point it towards the front of the bus. Then turn the key off, get off, and walk around to the back of the scooter. You'll find the freewheel lever on the rear right corner; push it forward to release the wheels. Then walk back to the front and push the scooter into place using the handlebars. After it's parked, pull the freewheel lever back to lock the wheels.

Steering the scooter in reverse while pushing it backwards takes a little getting used to, but it is much easier than trying to parallel park it using the motor.

Bus drivers are not required to help you park the scooter, but many will. Feel free to ask, but be prepared for a "no" answer.

Don't be concerned about banging into the bus wall while you're maneuvering; the bus can take it, if you can. ;) And please don't feel embarrassed or guilty about the taking the extra time; the other Guests can wait, and the drivers are paid by the hour, not the number of runs.

The biggest hints I have for parking are:
-practice and get comfortable with driving forward, backward, turning right and left exile going forward and backward.

- when pulling up, be sure to pull far enough and don't be too quick to turn or straighten your wheels (those are the most common errors I've seen)

- keep your speed turned way down

- although drivers are not supposed to drive the scooter for guests, they often will give advice about how to drive on. If the driver is giving advice, listen carefully because they will usually be very helpful.

This about parallel parking a car on the left may be helpful.

The concepts are the same - it's just the landmarks will be bus seats and the back of your parking spot instead of cars.
