Has anyone rented one of these from Beuna Vista Scooters? I rented the portable one from them last year and my husband rented in the park. This year we are staying at POP for the first time and I am worried about how much walking to and from bus stops both at the resort and the parks there will be. The Maxima isn't considered portable, but it can be disassembled, we have a van, just wondered if anyone has experience doing that? He is able to lift things in and out of the van, just has trouble with his legs and feet whe walking! Thanks!

Absolutely zero experience with that model, but I have a question for you:

Why not take the WDW transportation system around the parks once you get there? I know that sometimes folks get out, away from WDW during their trip, but if you are like us and rarely leave the WDW property... don't spend vacation loading/unloading assembling/disassembling a rental ECV. :) Ride that puppy right on to the buses, and go have fun! :)

Last week I bought my first ECV after 2 weeks of research I decided to go with the go go sport by pride mobility. It's the top of the line go go mobility scooter, in addition to the upgraded features it's a breeze to disassemble with the heaviest piece weighing 40 pounds.

We used the Pride Maxima from BV and the only thing that comes off is the seat. It is NOT transportable unless you have a lift or ramp to get into your vehicle as it is VERY heavy for two people to lift. We found that using Disney Transportation was FANTASTIC when using the ECV.

Thanks everyone, I rented the portable for myself last year and with just one scooter on the bus it was a bit tricky, I can only imagine what a nightmare 2 will be! People can be less than kind about the wait! The bus drivers are just awesome about it, I know we will likely have to wait longer for a bus with 2 scooters! The owner's manual shows it breaking down more than just the seat, we shall see,

I have a Pride Victory 10 scooter at home. It breaks down completely. The heaviest piece is approx 32 lbs.

I rent the same model from Buena Vista Scooters every trip. It's quite comfortable. It is easily driven on to the Disney bus, monorail and boats. Two scooters fit easily on the buses. Unless your Husband is over 330lbs, the Victory 10 should serve him well.

I would love to know if you were able to break this down to put in your van. This scooter looked the most comfortable but getting into our van is a must.
