pricline travel insurance?????

Does the travel insurance offered on Priceline pay if you can for some reason can not make your trip? Please help.

I learned this the hard way, NO, it doesn't, unless there were very specific circumstances such as: death of a loved one (they will ask for proof), illness/hospitalization, and severe weather such as hurricane at your destination (I believe) and there are a couple of other ones. You should read the policy very closely. I had to cancel and ended up paying for it anyway although I filed for my money back through the insurance and customer service at priceline told me I should be able to get it back, but I didn't meet their guidelines.
