Hi everyone,

Its a lazy Sunday morning, so I thought I'd get started on pricing up my hotel choices for May. We're going for 3 nights and 4 days :) . Our flights and transfers are already sorted.

I have no problem at all going offsite if its the cheaper option, but there are financial advantages staying onsite too. I have a Dream AP also.

So far, I've added to the cost of staying offsite -
50 euros (my DD has a Fantasy pass, so we would need to upgrade this to a Dream for her to use EMH)
20 euros approx (train tickets back and forth between DLRP and Val D'Europe/Bussy St Georges)
20 euros approx (difference in using Dream AP discount for meals, as opposed to HB standard vouchers)
30 euros approx (for breakfasts, as offsite hotels often don't have breakfast included in the price)

Is there anything else I may have forgotten to add to the offsite hotel cost?

Thanks,

Can't think of anything else, but am wondering if the HB benefit isn't more than 20 euros for 3 nights? Depending on where you ate I suppose.

Local hotel tax, some offsite hotels charge this seperately so you pay when you check in. Its usually only about €1-2 euros per person per night.

Thanks,

The 20 euros is very approximate, and only going on what I'd usually spend at Annettes (ie around 40 euros normally for the 2 of us, one adult, one child, then theres the AP 10% discount off that).

The restaurants we're considering this trip are Annettes, Agrabah Cafe and Rendezvous des stars, for a couple of the meals, and Cafe Mickey for DD's birthday meal (obviously not on HB standard, and will be more expensive - but that would be the case even if we had HB standard vouchers).

Thanks Nikki - I had forgotten about that :thumbsup2

We opted for HB standard too, looking at eating at rendez vous, agrabah, plaza gardens and 1 other undecided. Then I added LN + a cake to the package. It worked out cheaper this way than booking the HB plus, don't know if that might also be the case with CM for you :) Good Luck with the planning !

Spending money?
