Pricing through Central Reservations

Following advice I've seen here numerous times, I've called Central reservations several times, each time receiving a price that was within a few $$$ (+/- $3) of the last quote (although never consistent). Seems I'm onto something. Since I could save no less than $50 on my reservation, I joined the Disney Club last week. I called today and got a new quote. When I did, the first thing the cast member said was "Wow, you have been calling a lot, huh?" What good is it to call back if they know the last quote that was given to you??????

Am I missing a step? They want your name and zip code before they'll do anything else. Not much you can do about that.

Any advice welcomed. If it helps, I'm planning a trip in mid-December before the Xmas rush. They have pretty good discounts in place, so maybe I'm hoping for too much, but calling CR often doesn't seem to do too much, IMHO.

You could simply reply that for every call you've gotten a different rate as well.

When they ask for name and telephone # polietly tell them you do not want to give that informaiton until you are ready to book, that you are just asking for a quote.
