I know there have been a lot of threads asking for help in pricing for a garage sale, so bear with me!:goodvibes

The main things I need help pricing are:

Graco double stroller --- very good condition!

Graco Travel System --- older, but still in good condition and passes inspection. This includes stroller, car seat and base.

Brand new Travel System that is 13 years old. Would probably not pass inspection for car seat, but would work well for stroller and baby carrier...especially for a grandparent, etc.

Oh, also...a set of Calphalon pots....large, medium and small with lids

Thank you all so much!:goodvibes

When I price things for our garage sale, I use the 10% rule. I price 10% of what the cost was. If its something that I think will have a lot of interest, I might go 20%. I stick to the price I've marked the first day of the garage sale, but I do dicker a bit on the second day.

Good luck!

I go with the 10% rule too. If the double is in pretty good condition, you may get more money if you sell on CL. Maybe try it there first, and if it doesn't sell, put it in the yard sale.

Just one note - please do not sell any expired car seats. Most manufacturers say that their seats expire within 6 years, and all seats will be marked with a date of manufacture. The plastic on a seat degrades over time, and an expired seat may completely fail in an accident. Also the safety of car seats has improved greatly over time, so you may have a seat that is less than the minimum of safety. If it;'s expired, you can take a big chain saw to it to destroy it so no child rides in an unsafe seat. :)

Good luck at your yard sale!
