Pricing adults vs. kids

Does anyone know what percentage of price kids in the same cabin pay of the listed per person rate? For example, if you see a special that says $899 per person and you have 2 adults and 2 kids, I know you pay the $899 for each adult, but what percentage of that should you figure for kids (8 & 11)in the same cabin? Just hoping to score a good deal late if the economy keeps tanking!

For better or worse, I think it depends. So, you'll have to price it out for each one. On some cruises, the kids are almost as much as the adults - in which case, we book two connecting cabins. Other times, the kids are substantially less, so we stay in one cabin. It seems that the kids are more expensive during peak times than low season. But unfortunately, you'll have to look at the dates you're interested in to be sure.

This is correct. There is no hard and fast rule about kids' rates. It really does depend on the cruise you are taking and the cabin category you book.

The ages of the kids is also important. The older they are, the higher the fare.
