WDWNews is reporting that the prices of Mickey Ears, the Bubble Wands and other stuff in the parks has risen about $2.00 each. So the ears are like $27-$28 now, the wands are $27 I think. Pricing is getting on up there. I have quit buying a lot of the t-shirts and such because of them getting close to, and some going over $30.

Jesus! I thought Mickey Ears were regularly gonna be around $15 or something. Good thing I had already decided beforehand that it would be a waste of money. But who knows? I might suckered into buying anyway. :-P

I'll still be buying my boy a pair of ears, it's tradition!! But, we'll be watching our souvenirs for sure. And I always have to buy a hoodie when I go with the year on it, regardless of the price. lol

We grabbed a couple of pairs of ears last week. I think the quality is actually better now. I'm not justifying the increase, though. We like to buy custom ones and those are REALLY pricey.

I wish they would stop selling those dang bubble things all together.

The ears bands have gotten really good, cute and nice quality. Dare I say even comfortable, at least my newer ones are much more comfortable than the older ones are. They are the only things that suck me in. Well, some of the shirts too. They have gotten some really good fashion shirts lately. Things I can wear at home. No fair for them to up their game in design and up their prices at the same time! ;)

I agree about the comfort level being increased on the ear headbands. I have 2 pairs from previous trips that I can only stand to wear for a couple hours at a time before they give me a splitting headache but my tightrope girl ears that I bought in August were comfortable enough for me to wear RD-close days in a row. I don't know if the inner headband is slightly more flexible or if it's maybe a little shorter, so it doesn't hit the pressure point behind my ears but the change has made a world of difference for me

Mickey Ears are still showing at 14.99 on shopdisney.com. The 27.99 is for the Mickey Ear headbands.

I guess that means a trip to Disney Character Warehouse on Vineland on my next trip in 6 weeks.
If you haven't been in a while, be aware that the parking situation has changed significantly there this year. The parking deck now has a charge of $10 to park, and my favorite spot to park (in the back lot) is now valet, which costs $15. There is still some free parking, but a lot less than there used to be. The same thing has happened at the outlets up I-Drive. All the good, close-up spots are "premium parking" or valet at $10 or $15 a pop.

We will hit Target before we go. They have some awesome tees that are very reasonably priced.

We were there this past week and I usually buy a magnet, but I just couldn't. Most were $10! I just thought that was insane price for a magnet.

I recently bought a cute MM baseball style hat for my upcoming trip at the outlet for less than $5. I will smile ear to ear when I see the insane prices in NOV.

but.....my weakness are those PINS...…………..!!!!

Our souvenir purchases are way down. We have bought a lot over the last 20 years, and to keep going, we now buy much less, and eat table service much less - if at all. It is the only way we can go every year, and maybe twice in some years. T
