OK, all you experts. My DH and I are debating about getting the dining plan. I'm for it, he's not. So, I'm calculating all expenses to present my case :thumbsup2 . In terms of the snacks you get at the carts, how much is...

a mickey bar?
popcorn (not in the souvenir cup)?
soda?
water?
pretzel?

Thank you!

DDP Snack credits are worth $3-$4.

With dessert at lunch & dinner, we had trouble using all of our snack credits last year (spent over an hour at Goofy's "killing" off snack credits on the day we left)

With the current form of the DDP, I'm on your DH's side of the argument. The loss of the appy & tip just don't make it worthwhile IMHO (I'm also not a huge CS fan)

. . . how much is . . .

. . . a mickey bar? - $2.50
. . . popcorn, not in the souvenir cup? - $2.75
. . . soda? - $2.00 (Poweraid or Lemonade - $2.50)
. . . water? - $1.25 small, $2.00 large
. . . pretzel? - $2.50

My mother and grandmother were sitting at POP once and a family gave them a couple of bottles of Powerade because they had to finish up their DDP Snacks and couldn't bring them on the plane. A lot of families I talked to while working the parks had the same problem. Consider how much you are comfortable eating each day.
