I cannot find it anywhere. Please help. Does DCL have a "season" schedule similiar to Disney Resorts as far as Value Season, Regular, Peak and Holiday? Trying to plan next cruise.

Pretty much anytime school is out,Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas,is the highest pricewise. Aug. and Sept. are usually the cheapest because it's high hurricane season. This is when we usually go.

Book early, find a good TA,cuz they usually have pretty good little "extras" to offer i.e. stateroom credits.

Actually, January into the middle of February is the "cheapest" as per the rebooking agent on board 2 weeks ago, because most kids are just returning to school after the holidays and it is before the Presidents Day holiday. I believe that after Labor Day and into the middle of October is still vlaue season as again the kids are just getting into school. We have gone twice into the first week of Feb. and it is always the lowest price we can find.

The DCL website doesn't break down the prices into seasons like the resorts are, but the Passporter book has a rate trend graph. Basically Jan, Feb, Sept, Oct & Nov are the cheapest, with the exception of President's wknd & T-giving. Jan & Feb are cheaper than the fall months, too.

I've always sailed in Sept because it's the cheapest, then to hear that some others say Jan/Feb is cheaper made me do some checking on the DCL site. Late Jan/early Feb is still about $200-$400 more than a Sept cruise, but a little less than an October cruise. (that's for 2 adults with the range depending on the stateroom).

Of course, that's why DCL is putting the Magic in dry-dock in Sept since it's the cheapest month and least crowded month, too. That means we're going in October for 2008.
