This is a really ridiculous question, but are drinks included in the price of the Princess lunch? We ate there a couple of days ago and tonight I started looking through my receipts and noticed that we were charged for the meal ($20.99 adult and $13.99 kid), but then also got charged almost $12 for drinks. I really thought that drinks were included, but maybe not.

If we were overcharged, is there anything I can do now about it? I don't want to sound cheap or petty, but I really don't think our server knew what he was doing!

Thanks!

I dont think they are included. I went to www.dlresortinfo.com, its not an official site, but pretty informative. She has drink prices listed. Since you can't go in without buying a meal, I dont think they would have drink prices if drink were included. Hope that makes sense.

We went a week ago Friday and our drinks were included, I asked before we were served and they said they were included. We didn't have to pay extra for them. I would check on that.

i think its too late now. If you find out the day of, you complain, but a week later, its a bit too late.

if your still at the park, i suggest you go to city hall and complain there...

if it's anything like the one of the character lunch/dinner at wdw (and I'm going on my memory from February, so I could be wrong) - there was a basic drink that was included - I think it was Iced Tea, and if you wanted anything else, you had to pay for it. Does this make sense in your case? Did you buy sodas, or milk?

Sorry if I'm off base on this, but I'm pretty sure we ran into this situation at one of the character meals this past Februrary.

We were just there on Friday. Drinks are included in the price with the exception of alcohol and sparkling water. The drinks aren't limited to iced tea, soft drinks are included.

Here is a link that I found that shows the menu and it looks to me like they charge for drinks, there is no mention of drinks included and there is a price for soft drinks etc

Other than the misunderstanding what did you think of the meal, was the food goo, what did you order for appetizer/meal/desert and what princess did you get to see? Sorry for all the questions but I am thinking of trying to get a reservation here for my dd.

We went last week and got to see Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, Bell, and Sleeping Beauty. Each stopped by the table and did the autograph/photo. The food was OK - not nearly as good as the Story Book Cafe in the GCH or Goofy's Kitchen at the DLH - but it was in the park. The day we were there, it was packed. Call ahead for reservations.

We had the Onion soup (it was pretty good), my wife had the fish and french fries (it was OK), I had the chicken pot pie and my daughter had some chicken nugget thing. The desert was the best part with the "sea foam" which was pink cotton candy.

FYI, I found that the characters that weren't the princesses were far more entertaining and had more interaction with my daughter. I'm sure the princesses are good for the little ones and there were many small ones with their dresses on - but they weren't very excited to talk to a teen ager. I think they "know" we "know" and so it's not as much fun for them. The other characters we ran into at the other two character restaurants were far more engaging.

But it is a nice picture/autograph moment.

Couldn't agree more with your comment about the princesses -we went with my 9 year-old daughter...I thought she had outgrown the princess thing but of course not!

I thought the princess characters at AG's were not very engaging...they just said "are you having a good day?" signed autographs, posed, and that was it. The good news about this was we got to see every princess in the time we were there because they sure cruised through the tables.

But it still felt very different from other character meals we've done. It was worth it, though, for my autograph hound!
