Hi

I've just used priceline to book my airport hotel in Newark, overnight stop on route to Orlando. I got a really great price for the Marriott Newark International airport Hotel which is on airport.

Has anyone used priceline to book car rental?

What are the extra taxes/charges when you collect the car at MCO? I would want all the insurances and extras like UMP, CDW etc.

Thanks

Hi Helen.....I've used Priceline for car hire before. Unfortunately it was from Brussels airport, so no great guide to MCO taxes/charges, I'm afraid.

From reading elsewhere I believe that the compulsory taxes/charges are around £10 per day. As regards insurances these will probably vary by hire coy....but it will be expensive (have a look at the US Dollar, Alamo, etc sites for typical prices). I believe that it would be far cheaper buying your CDW etc in the UK before you travel....via Nat West, Options etc.

In fact it may be cheaper still just booking fully inclusive with the likes of

Skycars
Airline Network
Florida Homes & Travel

Good luck, whichever way you go:sunny:

Hi amf

Thanks for replying.

I was going to use floridahomesand travel but priceline was suggested as an alternative - I wasn't sure about the extra charges and thought I'd better get some other opinions - these boards are great for getting all the information to make decisions.
