Priceline question

I haven't bid on Priceline for airfare in two or three years. I'm a bit confused by the page that offers a counterbid...how do you get back to your original bid to change a parameter and increase your bid? I looked at Bidding for Travel, but it isn't clear if you can do this or not (there seems to be a bit of sniping going on over there!) Will the counteroffer page *disappear* in an hour and let you rebid?
