Priceline minivan for only $35 /day--from PIE

(I think PIE is the airport code for St Petersburg, FL). I got on Priceline and I tried EVERYTHINg as far as bidding for a luxery car, premium car and SUV, etc etc, and finally thought "what the heck- I will let them turn me down for a minivan too" and I got one for $35/day from Oct 28-Nov1. I didn't think that was too bad-did I do good? I hope so.

Looks pretty good....the cheapet for those days looks to be $47 per day...so you saved about 12 per day....

This post is just in time! My dh is considering renting a minivan for our trip in Nov/Dec, but I have NO idea where to start! What are the things that I would need to know?? mileage costs, charge per day, drivers fees?? Any info. that you could give me would be WONDERFUL!!!

I got this on Priceline, it was easy....have you ever bid on Priceline? I have always had pretty good luck with it. You don't need to know mileage cost, or driver fees, just bid on what you would pay per day. What I did was get on Expedia and try and see how much it would cost to rent one anyway, then get on Priceline and bid what you think would be fair. Just PM me if you need more info... good luck
