Priceline-local rental

I was wondering if Priceline works for a local rental? I was looking to pick up at Chicago O'Hare for a drive to Minnesota but we live in a suburb of Chicago. Does that work? I know typically local rentals are higher rates. TIA

Priceline and Hotwire are both great resources for rentals, regardless of location, as long as they are not one-way rentals. As for pricing, most people are spoiled with what are really dirt cheap rental rates in Florida, they are on average the lowest in the country.
