Priceline help FAST!!!

I have been trying to find tickets to Myrtle Beach on Priceline. I have come up with 4 different scenarios for flights. I am scared to death now because I was double checking a particular flight and was told I already had a PTR# for that certain request. I click to check my travel and there are 4 different PTR#'s for 4 different scenarios of my dates. I had put all of my info in to see if they would accept the price and all 4 times they did not. Nor did I accept the alternatives they requested. My question is why are the PTR#'s still on my vacation tab and if neither one of us agreed to accept each others price are they going to charge me for 4 different tickets? Or is that just an option to go back and accept if I choose to? I tried calling but it is all automated. Please help, I can't get stuck with 4 tickets that I didn't agree to.

Just a guess:

If you put together a scenario (flight between two specific cities; hotel room with so many stars for certain dates, etc) and it is not accepted, you must wait a few days before you can name your own different price for that same scenario. After that time delay, say five days, the PTR should disappear. You won't be charged and no real reservation will be made until you accept one of the alternatives in one of those saved scenarios, or make a new scenario that is different and that is accepted.

Previous poster was correct...the PTR# shows up on the account for all unsuccessful bids until the 72 hour bidding period is up or until a successful bid for the same destination is accepted. Don't worry....if you want to be sure just go to "My account" and click on the PTR# of an unsucessful bid...it will just take you to the screen where they said "Sorry we could not find anyone willing to accept your bid of $XXX but...."

Don't worry, your credit card is never billed from Priceline unless you see a screen that begins "Congratulations..."
