priceline for concert tickets?

Is there anywhere out there to purchase "discount" concert or event tickets? Somewhere like priceline or ticketmaster?

What type of events are you looking for?

general concert tickets, I was looking for a Brooks and Dunn concert in Terre Haute. They went on sale this morning so I just drove to Terre haute, IN. Only 1 1/2hr away. But it sure would have been great to find the tickets cheaper than ticketmaster, and cheaper than driving to a ticket center.

I had gotten so many good tips from this board I just thought someone might know.

For C&W, you might check out the Nashville Network website or the CMT website.
They might have codes published for appearances (maybe).

You just never know anymore!!

Here's a trick that may work.. especially if you can't get through to you local Ticketmaster phone number (continually busy)

For example, the Philadelphia Eagles/Panthers game went on sale, and ticketmaster was flooded with local calls from NJ/PA/DE

But my DH called two Ticketmasters, one in Cleveland, OH,and one in Albany NY, and was able to get tickets...

That would saved you driving time!

Yea! I would have rather been calling for Colts Superbow tickets, but they really blew that one!

We were in Indy for the game, it was really sad. But I guess there is always next year.
