Priceline for Car Rental

Has anybody used Priceline for car rental? They seem to be substantially less, even with adding the full coverage insurance. I have to wonder why they are almost half of the price booking through Costco. ?? Would be happy to hear about any experience.

I use Autoslash for all of my car rentals. The vast majority of the time they send you through Priceline to complete the booking. I've never had any issues that weren't my fault. They have a place where you can enter your rental program member number and still get all the benefits. I've been able to skip the counter with Hertz, National and Thrifty in the last 18 months booked through Priceline.
