Priceline for April

Has anyone ever had any luck getting through to priceline by phone to speak to a real person? I just put in a bid for a room for $44. it was accepted, but at $444. don't know what happened there, but why would anyone bit $444 for a room that they could bood conventionally for $113. Could someone please help with a number.
