I am curious for those of you who have used priceline, which hotels have you gotten when requested Disneyland area? Did you get ones accross the street on Habor??

I am debating on using Priceline for some up coming trips but want to be close within "actual" walking distance.

i just returned from going this weekend. I bid on priceline for the first time, 3 star hotel, disney area, bid $35, and got the marriott anaheim. Its about a block and a half from the park. They have their own bus that goes to the park every 30 mins. Trans was no problem. The hotel was really nice and had room service, pizza hut, starbucks, and a couple restaurants.

Try looking on www.biddingfortravel.com

You just scroll down to the hotels in the Anaheim area/Disneyland area. There is a post that shows what hotels are available--just click on it and it will list them for you. You can also look at what other people have bid and what has been accepted.

I think that others have posted about there success on this board--might try doing a search of these boards too!

My three star bids have landed me in the convention area - Marriott thrice.

Last October, we stayed at the Anaheim Marriott after getting it through Priceline. We enjoyed our stay and liked the fact that we could easily walk to DL. We're planning to go again in September, and we'll be using Priceline again!

I usually go to www.biddingfortravel.com to see what the hotel list is and what winning bids have been accepted. This way, I won't overbid on my hotel. It's a great resource!

Hi! We also just tried the Price Line thing... For 5 nights, Sept. 18-23 we Got the Anaheim Doubletree for $40 per night. Has anyone ever stayed there? Sounds pretty nice. Thanks!

We just got back from a stay at the West Coast Anaheim which we got on Priceline for $40. Nothing fancy but it was nice enough since we were hardly in it.
For a stay at the airport we got the Westin at LAX which was amazingly luxurious for $50 as well.
I think the walk from the West Coast Anaheim was about 15 mintues but we had really good luck with the shuttles. Short waits and never crowded.
