Anyone have any luck getting a good rate lately at MCO? I'm trying to get a one way rental picking up at MCO on the 23rd and dropping off FLL on 26th.

checking out http://biddingfortravel.com People go on that site and post what they have gotten. Please post back what you got how much. I am going to bid in October.

Thanks for the link. I tried $25/day for a full size and didn't get it. Guess I'll try again tomorrow. I'll let you know if I get something.

I just re-read your original post. I didn't know that Priceline offered one way rentals now. That might be part of the reason you aren't getting the rental at a lower cost. Hmmm ..... I have nothing to base what I just said on. I'm just thinking out loud. lol!

Hotwire is a really good indicator as to how low of a price per day that you can bid and be successful through Priceline.

Hotwire has rates in the mid 30's for your dates and needs, so that's probably why $25 was rejected.

Usually Priceline can be successful for a couple of dollars cheaper bid than what you find on Hotwire, but $10-12, is too big of a gap. Just my observations, not based on any scientific facts! :rotfl2:

Hey! How did you do? Did you ever get Priceline to accept a bid?
