Priceline car rental

Okay had 2 ressies - one with Dollar a minivan for 10 days total with taxes/fees $496.00 using promo code OOAG

and

one with Thrifty minivan 10 days w/taxes and fees $482. using Corp Discount rate 004m001010


Have been trying every 24 hours on priceline and today offer was excepted for Alamo minivan 10 days w/taxes and fees for a total of $365.


I remember the days when I could easily obtain a minivan for $280 - but I will take the $365 - still better than what I had. and I have cancelled the other 2 ressies

Just an FYI rental period begins on Friday August 21st

I experienced the same thing. I just got the same price rental through priceline at National (I believe the same company owns Alamo)

Heck, I remember getting a weekly rate on a minivan for $198 (and that included all fees/taxes) not that long ago, now for a 8 day rental was happy to get a $356 rate at Dollar.

I got a GREAT rate through Priceline for June 26-July 9 of $11/day compact. I just tried to get that for Oct 9-13 and was rejected. I guess I'll keep trying...

I've been trying to either compact or mid-size/standard for 10/9-10/13 for over a week and getting rejected daily
Earlier in the summer I got a two week rental for $11/day and now I've entered as high as $15/day with no luck.
Has anyone had luck with Priceline lately for October? I had this dream of getting the same price as July 4 weeks and keeping the 4 day rental under $100...
