Priceline 2* hotel

Has anyone used Priceline to get a 2* hotel? I was checking out biddingfortravel.com and it lists some pretty good hotels/motels for the 2* rating. I was just curious if anyone has gotten a 2* hotel, and was happy with what they got. TIA!!

I have used Priceline for a 2 Star hotel, but not for DL. I used it for here in Oregon and we got a Super 8 hotel with free breakfast, swim pool and hot tub. It wasnt bad for say the $30 a night we ended up paying for it.

On Priceline, some 2* hotels are OK, and some not so OK. In certain areas, some 2* hotels are Hilton Garden Inns or Courtyard Marriotts that do not have the amenities of a 3* hotel. (In fact, some are pretty new and nice, like the Hilton Garden Inn we stayed in for $34 when we were in the Tigard/Lake Oswego area in Oregon.)

Check on Tripadvisor.com for the hotel reviews on the 2* hotels on the hotel list from biddingfortravel. Since Priceline has a no cancellation, no refund policy that it is very strict about, you don't want to walk away from a bad hotel and lose your money.

The Anaheim Maingate (soon to be a Red Lion) has been showing up for $35 in the 2 star category. So, unfortunately has the Candlewood suites (in Garden Grove) for the same price about. Candlewood has got some bad reviews including distance from park being an issue, (they are now on the trolley line but still...) and you are out of luck if you need more than one bed from many accounts. Also the dreaded Jolly Roger is in the 2 star category but I haven't seen it reported on BFT or Better bidding for years. 3 star is a great category for Disneyland and you can get one for $42 if you have a lot of patience and try early enough.
