Price to rent a friendship boat?

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I wasn't able to find a thread that answered my question.

Does anyone have an idea of how much it will cost to charter a friendship boat? For a little background, I'm planning to hold my ceremony at Sea Breeze Point, my reception at Atlantic Dance Hall, and then I'd love to do a dessert party in Epcot afterwards. By my logic, the easiest way to transport my guests from the reception to the dessert party would be by boat (as long as it's not a zillion dollars :p). Has anyone ever rented one before? I'm looking at a Saturday night, and I plan to have room blocks at Swan and Dolphin, Yacht/Beach Club, and the Boardwalk, if that info factors in at all.

Thanks!!

Carrie did. I'm sure she will chime in. She used it after her morning ceremony in Epcot to the Boardwalk for her reception at The Attic.

We were also married in Epcot at a morning ceremony and then did brunch at ADH. We had 50 guests and used a Limo for us and Disney bus for all guests.

The price has gone up to $1,200. However, they are only available for a private rental before World Showcase opens in the morning. You could just take your guests on a regular Friendship boat. How many will you have?

Thank you so much, Carrie and all! Between these forums and the pass porter books and podcast, I've learned so much! I'm planning on having around 75 attendees, and I think it'd be difficult for our older guests to walk from a bus drop off location at the front of Epcot to a dessert party in world showcase, so I'm thinking I might just have the group watch illuminations from the ADH balcony instead. Especially now that the price to rent a boat has gone from $250 to $1,200 and it's limited to mornings only.

On an unrelated note, I'm planning to use chiavari (sp?) chairs for my sea breeze point ceremony. Any idea whether I will be charged again to use them during my reception at ADH immediately after? Or can I just pay a moving/handling fee? The standard banquet chairs are not my style, but since I'm renting the chiavaris anyway, I thought maybe I'd save myself a buck. Just curious whether anyone knows. Thanks again!!

You can hire motor coaches or vans to take everyone backstage at Epcot for your DP. But they'll have to walk to the BoardWalk lobby to meet them.

You will have to pay for two separate sets of Chiavari chairs. There isn't time to move them to ADH for your reception.

As usual you guys answer my questions before I can ask. The Bride (daughter) is Planning a Japan ceremony and an Ariel's or Living Seas Salon reception. We thought the boat might be a good idea. Now we know the cost. Thanks.
