price per point for resale

My wife and I are about to buy into the DVC, having just returned from Disney. I discovered the resale market and we wish to purchase 150 pts. The asking rates seem to be from $68 to $74 a point, I know we can make a offer of less. Any feedback on what a resonable offer per point would be?

It depends on the package, number of points, points availability, home resort, and other costs (fees and closing) associated. I'd also take into account how well it fits your needs. A 150 pt BCV contract would be a different reasonable price compared to 500 OKW points and so on. In general, I'd look at around $62-65 pp at OKW and BWV, $65-68 at WLV and $68-70 at BCV. Look critically at the points availability and also what the additional costs are as these other costs usually make or break a deal from a value standpoint.
