Price per point for new members $98 or $101??

Hello - my family and I decided to become new members in May 2006 by buying direct at SSR. Our guide informed us that the price per point was $101 - but that if we purchased within a certain period of time - Disney would give us an $8 credit - making the price $93 per point. When I was browsing on the member website however - it states that the price per point is $98 until July 1st - doesn't that mean that we should have paid $90 per point instead of $93????

$98 per point was the price for existing members doing an add on. Since you were a new member they gave you the $101 per point price. As of 7/1 the price for add ons goes to $101 for existing members too. HTH

The $101 is correct. My wife and I joined in Late May while we were in WDW. We got the 8 credit per point.

My DH was asking me if $67 was good for VB for resale. He said if it was that cheap why not buy there. I can't imagine it selling for that and making it past Disney's Right to Refuse. Has anyone else seen this price or is my DH in WDW fantasyland?
