Price of gas in Florida?

Someone said that gas was high in FL. What is the average price per gallon?

I saw anything between 1.82 - 1.92 for regular today.

That the onsite stations HESS have very comparable gas prices to the offsite stations.

I was very happily surprised to find they werent price gouging just because they are onsite. I always have a rental, and it was so convenient filling up onsite before heading to MCO!

I thought I would miss Shell, NOT!

Be careful and DO NOT buy gas at exit 68 (Lake Buean Vista). I live here and gas is $2.13 - $2.15 around the Crossroads area. They are .25 cents higher than anywhere else in Orlando.

Paid $1.89 today at the Wal-Mart, could have gotten it for $1.86 if I had money still on my Gift Card. Didn't know about the 8 cents off, I'll be waiting to fill up till the 1st then.

We live in Melbourne, we noticed most everytime we went to WDW or US/IOA the gas was a few cents cheaper than here.

If you are driving down, make sure you fill up in Georgia before hitting the Florida line. Also, if you have a BJ's or Sam's card, both of those have gas stations and their rates are usually lower than other stations. If you are only having a short trip, it may not be worth it to drive out to the BJ's or Sam's. I also second the HESS onsite stations. They were re-opening end of May, early June and their rates were very comparable, especially considering the convenience.

DOes anyone here know approx. how many galoons fill a tank in a Cavalier??? Us Canadians and our litres just don't get it.

For the month of August they are taking another 8 cents a gallon off the price. Florida reduced the sales tax on gas for the month.

I have a 4door cav and I believe it takes 12 gallons, but I may be wrong so don't qoute me,lol. Hope this helps.

when we were at Disney 2 weeks ago the gas stations were over 2.00 but the hess station near DTD and in MK was 1.89. They must have some kind of deal with disney.hope this helps

The Chevy website says the fuel capacity of a Cavalier is 14 gallons. http://www.chevrolet.com/cavalier/specs.htm
