I recently cruised on the Fantasy, and noticed they sold the blue blankets that are at the foot of the bed, in one of the shops. Does anyone know how much they are, or is anyone cruising soon who could tell me? Want my family to pick one up for me, but I need a price. :) Thanks

The blankets they sell in the shop aren't the same as the ones in the staterooms. They are more like the throws you can get at the parks. Fringe along the sides and a bit coarser. If I remember correctly they are around $40.

As far as I know, you can only get the ones in the rooms by taking them and getting charged for a "missing" item. We asked our stateroom host and they couldn't get us one to buy but said the charge was about $200. Didn't like them that much :sad2:

Yikes!!!!!!! I'll just settle for the $40 throw. :) Thanks again.

I actually saw one on ebay for sale once (naughty because it was obviously one from the stateroom ) !

Lol I shouldn't laugh at that but...

#1. How do you smuggle out a full blanket and

#2. You'd have thought dcl would have noticed and charged them

I know! I pondered on this for ages. Why didn't they get charged! Then on our next cruise I noticed that when they cleaned the staterooms sometimes they left the door propped open unattended and thought mmmmm perhaps somebody took it from some other poor souls stateroom and they got charged! As for getting it off the ship I am at a blank lol.
