Price matching~ no way!

There is an item that I want to get for my kids and Walmart will have it on sale Friday. I have called several stores,Toys r us, Target & Kmart, in my town and none of them matches competitors' prices!

I don't want to go to Walmart, I don't want to go...

Do your local stores match prices?

Unless Walmart is really out of your way, why wouldn't you go to Walmart? Look at that immediate contribution that Walmart makes when they offer something you want at a reduced price. You have the money to spend on something else that you really want. Economically, it is to your advantage and the purchase of an additional item stimulates the economy also. BTW, Whose trucks showed up in New Orleans, even after their stores were looted? HMMMM?

Ok, I called Circuit City and they do match prices. I doubt their store will be any less crowded than Walmart though.

I'm not the original poster, but the way I took it was that they didn't want to go to Walmart on Black Fri. The place will be a madhouse. I will be avoiding that place at all costs b/c of the expected crowds.

I misinterpreted your comment because I have read so many negative things about Walmart lately that its become the company people love to hate. If you don't feel like it, than thats a good reason.

DH went to Walmart last BF and he is NOT a shopper at all. He was really surprised that it wasn't very crowded. I have never done Walmart on BF because I figured it would be a madhouse. Glad you found it at CC though.

So Walmart will price match any ad? I'm finding things I want at Walmart/Target & TRU so having trouble deciding where to go but if I can get them all price matched at Walmart I guess that's where i'll be. I've been at TRU, KBtoys & Sears 1st thing BF before but not Walmart... i'm sure it's all the same idea, lol.

I want the easy bake oven from TRU and the Star Station price from Target that I guess I can get at Walmart...

Sears has a price match guarantee. i am going to use it to get Hot Wheels Gorilla Attack. Walmart has it for $34.97 Target has it for $34.99. Sears is selling it for $39.99.

It is only an additional 50 cents off, after the 10% difference, but it is the fact i can point out to them they do NOT have the lowest price.

I don't know if Walmart matches prices. The item that I want is on sale only at Walmart. Give them a call to find out.

I checked at Walmart today about an item in the Target ad this week. The woman said that they would match the price cause it was in the reg weekly ad but that on Friday they wouldn't match the door buster prices, so you might want to check to be sure they will match the others before you plan on it.

(For the person who said they would just go there instead of TRU, target etc.)
