Price match with Virgin

For anyone that has booked their holiday through Virgin and is wanting tickets to places like Universal, SeaWorld, Busch Garden etc they will price match with other ticket sellers you find that are cheaper.

For example the standard ticket price with Virgin and many companies for The Universal 2 park bonus ticket and the Seaworld/Busch Gardens/Aquatica is roughly £210pp.

Companies like American Attractions are selling the same tickets for £189pp.

If you contact the Virgin Florida concierge via phone or email they will price match these tickets for you. Obviously the price difference isn't huge but could still save a family of 5 £100.

The benefit of booking additional tickets through Virgin is that you get 2 days early entry to the Universal parks even if you are not staying at a Universal resort.

They can also charge you In £'s so you don't get hit by the banks exchange rate.

Booking with Virgin also gave me greater piece of mind as opposed to booking through a company I had not previously heard of.

I have done this myself for my upcoming November trip so can confirm it works. Hopefully this will help some people

TBH I find VH's prices so over inflated that the money I saved booking my holiday DIY saved me far more and we shopped around for our attraction tickets so got a really good price for what we needed.

But your post may indeed help others that have booked with VH's..thank you for posting.

Do, however, remember that some other companies also offer cash back - which Virgin WON'T price match.

Personally nothing bugs me more than companies who make YOU do the leg work to buy from them. Why bigger calling up and telling them about other companies' prices and getting them to match them, when you could just save your time and effort, and take your business elsewhere? If VA are indeed willing to sell tickets at those prices, it's, in my book, poor form to blatantly rip off those who haven't googled or may not know to/have the time to call up.
