Does anyone know if you can bid on 4 rooms on pl and if they would all be at same hotel. And hase anyone used a debit card, and came out ok? well be going april 3 with 8kids atheir dd dms

I know you can bid on two rooms...not sure about 4, but I'm sure you can. When you go through the process on Priceline it asks how many rooms you want. All the rooms will be in the same hotel.

I have used my debit card on Priceline and had no problems.

HTH!

The limit is 3 rooms. I have used my debit/credit card from my checking account and didn't have a problem. However, Hotwire would not accept it.

As long as all the rooms are placed in the same bid, they will be at the same hotel. However, if you place the bids separately you run the risk of getting different hotels.

I have 2 teenage boys...so I wanted 2 rooms BUT if I bid for 2 rooms will they be next to each other? Could they end up being on separate floors? My boys are 15 and 19 so they are old enough but this is a family vacation and we'd like to be together. We just want more room.
I wonder if I could call and make the request after the bid was won
This is why I hesitate

There is no gurantee the rooms will be anywhere close to each other. You can call the hotel and request it, but...

I've had great results with hotels honoring requests, especially if you phone shortly after getting the reservation and confirm the day before. I've saved over 50% by using priceline. Biddingfortravel.com has helped me make wiser bids.

You have to do what works for you, but I've been very pleased.

Last summer we took a vacation to Minnesota, just the girls. There were 4 of us, myself, my 4 yo DD, my mom and my grandmother. I used Priceline to book 3 different hotels for our trip, 2 rooms at each hotel. At all 3 hotels our rooms were somewhat near each other but not right next door. One hotel had us at total opposite ends of the hallway, the other 2 had a few rooms in between us. Each time we checked in we asked to be as close as possible. We were satisfied with the locations of our rooms.

I did use my debit card when I used Pricline and had no problems. I have used in the past also.

I have used my debit card numerous times at hotwire and never had a problem with them. Maybe it depends on the bank who issues the card.

I'm not sure if the limit is really 3 rooms - because when you go to "Hotels" on priceline, it does ask you how many rooms you need, and 4 rooms is an option.

It may have changed in the past year. I know awhile back I needed 4 rooms and the option was 3. However, it could of changed since it was awhile since I was looking for that many. I recently have gotten 2 rooms at one time-- but don't check in for another 2 weeks. So, I don't know how close they'll be together.

i've used a debit for both sites ( hot wire for the vouchers, not rooms). fyi I had a couple of "not as advertised" experiences with priceline so buyer beware.

I was under the assumption the you were just purchasing a"slot' the actual assignment to be determined later...I would think the hotel would rather you be near your kids also so you could a call and request it . if not call holiday inn or one of the chains on priceline and ask how they assign the rooms.
