Price increases!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! I was just checking online for next year. For the same weekend in the same month next year we will pay almost twice as much as what we paid this year. We went from Jun 16th to the 20th this year. I checked for the dates of June 15th to the 19th, for the same type of room 12th floor Concierge at the Contemporary they want almost twice as much. I guess they are really going to pass on the renovation charges to the customer. I guess we won't be able to swing that next year. How disappointing.

This is probably in preparation so they can have discount codes and people won't realize that they are paying last years rack rate.

Are you sure you didn't get a discount room rate? The rack rate Tower rooms went up $10 per night and the Tower Club went up $80 per night. While the Tower Club was a big hike, I can't see how that would double the cost unless you are comparing a discount to a non-discounted room.

You ar right, but if you check and book early for the Disney Cruise if is cheaper than this year. So just switch you destination next year, I have been on one and it is so worth the money, and you can pay in advance and make payments also, check it out!!!

I didn't have any discounts. We booked well before I knew about this board. I just called the # and booked, I assume the online rates are the same as when you call on the telephone without a code or discount.

You must have gotten some great rate this year!! Maybe a code attached to your name that you didn't know about?? Good for you.

2005 rate is $445 per night vs $525 for 2006. So, that's an 18% increase.
