Just eaten a Bounty Platter at Roaring Fork and it's now $11.49 up from $9.99. Pancakes now $8.99 from $6.99.

This has been an ongoing occurance this year. Incremental increases across the Disney board.

Ugh:crazy2: I didn't even think of that. I was excited to see some QS options included in the discount and thinking we were actually going to save a few bucks off our resort breakfast days. Counting chickens before they hatched I guess. Disney giveth and they taketh away:sad2:

We noticed it in July when we did a non-DDP trip and we were hit with prices for the first time in a long time (other than all my research using online menus)...almost $10 for a pre-made, pre-packaged cold sandwich is out of line!

I think long and hard before getting dessert at a TS place now when paying OOP. Most of them are in the area of $9 now! I would rather go to B&C and get my Milky Way Sundae if I am spending that much :)

There's only one dessert I'm willing to shell out money on next trip...I just gotta try that coconut bar at Skipper Canteen.

Just news for anyone planning a trip that the annual (or twice annual?) price changes are taking place.

1) I am getting much too old.
2) I can remember . . .
. . . when penny candy was a penny
. . . when a buccaneer was a good price for corn
. . . when I had long hair and not longing for hair
. . . when I needed a KEG and not an EKG
. . . when Disney price increases were only once-per-year

Of course Disney raises prices, but a one-time increase of 15-30%? Seems steep to me.

Unless I'm misunderstanding that the prices did not go directly from the one to the other as quoted above, and there were incremental changes over a longer period of time?

Our next trip we will be eating off site a lot more. Our lunches we will do in the parks.

Just an aside - we just went to Dollywood over the weekend, prices there are also high. We paid $20 for a "hearty harvest sausage skillet", it was a small bowl of mostly potatoes/onions and I found one piece of sausage! :rotfl:
And no variety to speak of...fried, greasy, gravy - okay but heavy!

Have to say, made me appreciate Disney's variety of food.

The Mouse giveith see the AP 20% discount and the Mouse taketh away see the increase in food prices.
