A couple of weeks ago I purchased express passes for HHN (for 10-30) and they were $25. I was thinking of buying them for Halloween night as well, but when I went online to buy the passes I noticed that the price went up $5 (from $25 to $30). Does anyone know why the sudden price increase? Not that I'm complaining, but I'm just curious. :charac4:

They set the prices based on the anticipated attendance. Since you're talking about Halloween night and it's going to be crazy busy, they raised the prices. It's still about $20-$25 for an off-peak night.

I just got off the phone with a rep about buying express passes for HHN.
We were supposed to come down to PBH 10/23-27 and go to HHN tonite 10/23. We pushed our trip back a week due to Wilma. So I needed to change my HHN S&S and express passes. Anyway the girl said they would honor the S&S tickets on the 31st but i needed to buy new express passes and return the ones i had for a refund. I asked how busy it was on 10/31 and she repeatedly told me it was NOT busy at all and that she had worked there for 5 years and KNEW for a fact. ( I think she was a little snotty about it).
So I am asking the experts.... How busy is it?
:listen:

The express pass prices have all been raised. On the nights when they expect fewer people, the price is $30. For nights they expect moderate crowds, the price is now $40 and for peak nights, the price is $50.

I think the reasoning is because the express have sold out nearly every night. They can raise the price of the express and sell less of them if the price is higher. Some of the express lines were more than 15 minute wait, so they need to sell less for the people to get the benefit of express. If they sell less, they need to raise the price a little to make the same amount of profit.

Halloween night is not expected to be too busy.
