Price increase in early 2008?

I thought they raised them this year more towards the middle of the year. Universal raised their prices first and then Disney followed a month or so later.

But yes, you can expect further increases as long as people keep flocking in.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say YES prices will go up again.

Normally Ticket Price increases always go into effect on a Sunday. The earliest Disney will usually announce the increases is late on a Friday afternoon.

The only people who know in advance are some managers and high level people, the programmers for the ticketing computers, and the people who make signs and printed materials.

Often many of us who sell tickets find out when we come in and find that the prices on our terminals are changed, and the sheets we have in the booths to show Guests their choices are new.

I only ask because as a DVC member you can purchase your Season Pass at anytime then cash in the voucher when you arrive. So I wanted to hold out as long as possible at the current price. I know on undercover tourist they announced it was going up on sunday and gave you fri and sat to get tickets at the old price earlier this year. However the dvc season passes can only be purchased from WDW. So that's why I asked.

1) Truer words have never been uttered.
2) The oracle has spoken!
3) And you thought the only sure things were death and taxes.
4) We now need to add semi-annual WDW price increases.

NOTE: OK, some years there is only one increase. But, when they do a Jan-Feb and Jul-Aug increase, they effectively get 13% increases.

As long as guests keep flocking to the parks in ever increasing numbers and keep paying the price. .......they will continue to rise. Barring {God forbid} another 9/11, park attendance will continue to go up on a regular basis. The days of the "uncrowded" parks are over for the immediate future. In other words, get used to the ever increasing prices and crowds.......:sad1:

I don't think tickets went up until August this year. My guess would be you have a while before you see an increase.
