Price Fixe/Dining Package Question

My question is related to both Price Fixe Menus at restaurants like Be Our Guest, Monsieur Paul, as well as for the Dining Packages for the Candlelight Processional. I don't have a problem with ordering the prixe Fixe Menu - what I want to know is if I am allowed to order ADDITIONAL food, like say a second appetizer, for example, or other things on the menu, like enhancements, something like that.

I mean, in the past, for example, at Victoria and Alberts, even when I did their tasting menu, I was still allowed to order extra items if I wanted to. I realize this isn't a problem most would have as most find it too much food to begin with a price fixe menu LOL. But I am a big eater and endlessly curious about dishes, plus I figure, just in case I don't like one item, I have a back up to try.

Disney likes to control you so much these days, I figure I had to ask this question LOL.

I think it's highly doubtful at Be Our Guest and Monsieur Paul as they have no enhancements on their menus - perhaps you can order an entire second prix-fixe? You could certainly ask. It would be much easier at the CP dining package restaurants that also offer a la carte menus as you can simply pay for the package and add on extra items from the a la carte menu.

I am actually considering ordering an entire extra meal at Be Our Guest! LMAO! You read my mind. There, I wouldn't mind doing that as it is not too outrageously priced. I am actually more or less happy with the Monsieur Paul menu, they give you enough variety to please me LOL. So, that's fine.

And I guess you answered my question about the Candlelight Processional package as I am going to be dining at Spice Road, one of my faves with it, and I know I want at least 2 apps.

Thank you!

Are you asking if you can order an extra meal for free?

Oh no! LMAO! I didn't mean that. I meant I would pay another $67 or whatever it is at Be Our Guest for the Price Fixe to get another entre/app/dessert if that was the ONLY way to get another appetizer. I mean, before the pandemic, I never worried about restrictions at any dining restaurants in terms of being allowed to order extra things, but I am just not sure now how strict they are with this price fixe thing, like one would think the customer should be allowed to order a soup ala carte at Be Our Guest in adition to the Price Fixe, but I cna picture them saying, "No, I'm sorry, that is not allowed" We only sell Price Fix meals.

Probably the only way to know for sure would be to ask at the restaurant or call them ahead of time if that is possible. Ordering a whole extra meal (say 3 meals for 2 people) SEEMS possible since you just pay ahead of time before being seated. I think the ala carte option could be an issue since the very thing Disney is trying to avoid is having someone ONLY order soup just to experience places like BOG. Some people will endlessly try to 'game' the system and having a fixed price/set menu is one way to prevent that from happening.

I did the Spice Road package last year, and, if memory serves, you get 2 small plates and a dessert platter as part of the package.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I don't know if they can even enter individual items into their system to charge you for them as they aren't listed that way on the menu - the only choice is prix-fixe, there are no individual prices on the menu. Certainly doesn't hurt to ask!
