Price drop on Jet Blue ... check your flights !

Just checked my flights this morning and Jet Blue prices have dropped !

My return trip is now down to $79 ... called and got a $60 credit for future travel !

Worth checking out if you're flying Jet Blue soon !

My flight down to WDW from Boston dropped last week, but a day later went back to the original fare. I did get my credit though. I'll keep watching.

My flight dropped $20 each on our return flight, and $10 each departing to MCO. This is my second price drop, $90 today-$30 before. WOO-HOO!
Was on hold for 10 minutes, but it's worth $90 for 10 minutes of my time.

I'm new to JetBlue so I did not realize that they reassign your seats when you do this; I guess they have to 'rebook' the ressie at the lower fare?

Anyway she got all of us together after the $45 credit, so it's all good.

Yeah, it's a process. They actually cancel your original assigned seat ressie, and rebook it at the discounted fare. It has always stayed the same for us, (knock on wood) , and we love JetBlue.

Just checked mine for August and WOW....they're not cheaper! The new fares are more than double the price. Glad I got my $89 fares when I did in January. I do keep checking just in case, but so far they haven't gone down at all.

Our tickets went down for October but not for August.

That's okay, we're always happy to put a credit into our TrueBlue account and this time it was for $60.

One of my fares dropped; I called JetBlue around 2 PM (eastern) and their entire system is down She said to call back in about an hour.

Thanks for the heads up! I just called and only waited on hold for about 5 minutes. I got a pretty good deal when I originally booked our tickets so my credit was only $30 total on the flight to Disney (the price for our flight home actually went up by about $60 each). I also got to keep our original seat assignments.

This is my first time flying JetBlue too so hopefully the flight goes as smoothly as the customer service.

I'm going to assume by the credit everyone is getting that Jetblue does not charge a fee to change the ticket? That would be a good thing to know for future flights. I'm waiting for something good to open up for April 2007. Of course we are trying to fly the day before Easter...call us crazy we know.LOL

I REALLY want to try Jet Blue... I'm even willing to take the only flight offered (leaves Sacramento at 1215am), but I just cant stomach the $498 fare. The price sure hasn't dropped for me...

Jet Blue put a credit in my True Blue account for the price difference. If you are going to change flight times or days - there is a $30 change fee per ticket ($25 if you do it online).

Does anyone know if you cancel a reservation - do they charge you $30 at the time you cancel or do they reduce the amount of credit that they put in your account?

They don't charge to make a requested price change credit; they DO charge for any other changes - different day, different flight, whatever. Also, I was told my (small) credit could be used by anyone - which I take to mean I can transfer it to someone, NOT that anybody who knows about it can grab it
