The price on the 2017 So. Caribbean cruise I booked is now 700 cheaper for the same room category. I didn't realize that DCL even had price fluctuations. Should I cancel and rebook? Or something else?

Call them and they should refund the difference.

Just an FYI, that if the the word "guarantee" listed as part of the category that is $700 less? If so, then you are giving up the ability to choose a stateroom and will only be guaranteed a stateroom that is part of that category.

The only time is if it says restricted guarantee that they lower prices which could not be the case because this is a 2017 cruise.

To clarify....Disney does sometimes lower the actual fare of a category and then they would refund the difference if brought to their attention. Other times they offer the restricted GTY last minute discounts (which is unlikely in OP's case since it is so far out) and they would NOT refund the difference as those rates are for new booking only.

Just call to see. It is rare, but they do sometimes lower a fare.

I just checked out those cruises on cruise fish, I dont see where any of the categories went down in price. Looked like they all went up just a little bit? Maybe the prices for the third and fourth person went down? Or maybe Cruisefish isn't as accurate as I thought.

Although this sounds obvious, also check to make certain that your search criteria (i.e. # of people) is correct. We usually travel with 3 people (me, DH & DD), but sometimes I forget to check and the website defaults to 2 people. There have been a couple of occasions where I checked the price of a cruise we had booked and saw a much lower price. About the time that I was saying "what the heck" and was about to call my TA, I double checked the # of passengers and, sure enough, it was showing 2 instead of 3.

It's no secret the southern Caribean cruises doesn't sell good. DCL had to have good deals in January to try to fill the ship. Now with the Zika Virus going on down there expect more good deals.

Thanks for everyone's responses and sorry if I got people excited about a price drop that wasn't. Apparently, I was seeing things or maybe there was a glitch early this morning. I'm now seeing the same price I originally booked when I visit the DCL website.
