Price differences between French and UK DLRP websites - BBWWS etc...

Hi there!

Two threads in the same day! I'm so sorry to bombard you all with questions, but I've just noticed something which I find a little strange.

I was just looking at the BBWWS tickets, and thought I'd take a look around as other DISers have said that they have bought them for much cheaper than the £52 that is quoted on the UK DLRP website.

So I find myself on the French DLRP website, and it's quoting the 21:30 showing of BBWWS for €30?!

The same show on the UK DLRP website is quoted at £52:

This is quite a big difference obviously Are UK residents able to purchase from the French DLRP website? Has anyone done this?

Also....

I've noticed on the French DLRP website that they have a "Billet Francilien" 1 day/1 park ticket for €41 (weekend):

The equivalent I found on the UK website was £51.

First of all, I thought that 'Francilien' might mean for French residents only or something. But in the small print, it says:

"Billet Francilien ouvert à tous. Non disponible à l'entrée des parcs. Tarif unique adulte / enfant. Valable pour un achat jusqu'au 25 septembre 2012. Billet non remboursable."

I have translated the first bit as 'open to everyone'? Does that include non-French people too?

Like I said, sorry for the bombardment, but the difference in prices is just crazy! Any way we can book through the French website?

You can book where you like though the official Disney site often doesn't like foreign cards

Have a look at the Fnac as they sell these tickets at those prices and so far no pbs

The Francilien ticket is open to everyone regardless now of where they live. Just remember to buy it at least 5 days before your visit

The BBWWS tickets I can't get the availabilty up today beyond April so I can't check prices and sites but there are often flash sales on them through Fnac/Carrefour and Auchan at 29€ regardless of the showtime where the Disney ones are only at 30€ for the 21.30 which is often too late for many as you aren't starting eating before 21.45/22.00

I am looking at hopper tickets thru 3 country sites also. I got these prices 237 GBP, 225 Euros and 393 dollars.

If I read your responses correctly, I could get the French site, so cheapest tickets - but it will not take US credit cards.

If I go thru FNAC, can I print tickets at home?

That Buffalo Bill offer seems to be gone entirely now, or is it just me? the links redirect to the main site, and any attempt to search or bring up Disneyland related items brings up everything BUT Buffalo Bill : (

Shame, will have to see if I can get a cheap price while we are there...

You have to change the country of the DLP website to "Ile de France" in order to get the offer. And even then, the link at first did not work at the booking page, but if you go to "choix" and then select "spectacles" you should get it. Good luck! We decided against booking Buffalo Bill as we did not want to miss out on Dreams...

I can't get that to go beyond April It just turns and turns and goes nowhere.

None of the French ticket sites have cheap offers beyond April either so it's wait and see if they they are still going to be offering them or not atm..

**fingers crossed** that they do, I've promised Olivia we'll go again (and hopefully get better seats than last time!) but not sure I can afford to pay full price!

I will give it a go tonight to try and book on this website. Last time, I tried about 20 times on all different cards and it wouldn't work! *finger crossed* that I have more luck this time!

I've just checked Fnac, Ticketnet, Billetnet and they don't have them up as yet but I'm sure they will before long.

If the official site doesn't work don't give up as I'm sure we'll find something for you

This strange, because a week ago or so it did show May and beyond... I guess it is one of those Disney computer issues more than the tickets not being available.
