Price Difference Question!

Hi everyone! Sorry if this isn't the best section to post this thread, but I was wondering if anyone could help me... :]

We already have a vacation booked to WDW for June, for 2 people (adults), and will be staying at the Pop Century Resort. A third person (also adult) may be joining us in this trip, and so I was trying to figure out the difference in pricing, with the third person, so I can tell the third person exactly how much she will owe. We have the package booked with 6 day base tickets and the dining plan as well.

Let me start off by asking.... 1) Is there a charge added for a difference of 2 or 3 people at Pop Century? (I was guessing no since there is already 2 double beds in the room, but maybe I am wrong?) and 2) The third person doesn't need to worry about the hotel cost, just specifically her tickets and dining.

I couldn't seem to find an exact breakdown of how much each part of the package cost, so I basically was trying a trial and error method of pricing the vacation online with the 3rd person added, and then just subtracting the difference of the pricing of the package with 2 people (make sense?) Although, now I am wondering if this difference in price would be the accurate cost of her tickets and dining? Because if the hotel doessss charge more for 3 people, that's where my math would be off, haha.

If anyone has some insight into this that would be great! Thanks! :]

you should be able to price this out easily enough on the WDW reservations web site. Make up a reservation that is exactly the same as the one you currently have (resort, dates, tickets, dining etc) but make it for 3 adults instead of 2. It will show you the amount. Just dont book it! The difference between the 2 is the cost of the 3rd adult. Simple.

Also, don't forget that she can't just show up and pay for dining and tickets. She has to be named on the reservation (otherwise she couldn't get the dining).

And just so you know, regarding extra adults in a room: yes, there is an additional room charge for adults in excess of 2 in most resorts. I believe that a pp had it right: $10/$15/$25 depending on the level of the resort.

I agree, at a Value Resort it is $10 per night for the extra Adult.
As a side note, I would be splitting the total by 3, that would be fair, no ? The first two adults would be paying alot more than the third guest if only having them pay the extra $10 a night, unless you are treating them to this lovely holiday, which is a very nice gift
Also agree, you need to add them to your reservation, you must include everyone's full name and everyone must have the same components

Thanks everyone for the responses!

The additional $10/night makes sense then with subtracting the two costs, and yes, we planned to add her to the vacation so she is included in the package!

The third person is paying less, but yes it's sort of a gift, haha :]
