Any input on whether President's Week or Easter Week is better/worse for a trip to Disney? Trying to choose. I prefer smaller crowds, which I assume would mean I should go in Feb., but want to have weather that's good enough to visit the water parks. Anybody been there both times? Is one time better than the other? Thanks.

p.s. i'm renting DVC points and trying to decide which week to use them, that's why I posted this on this board...

I'd personally choose Presidents' Week. It will be busy, but not quite as busy as Easter. You are likely (although certainly not guaranteed) to have a day or two of good weather for the water parks. If Water parks are a real key, you should probably brave the crowds and do Easter, only because you're more likely to get good water park weather.

Have a magical trip.

I agree President's week will be just a slight bit less crowded than Easter week. If your school's are off though scoop up airfare (if needed) as soon as it's available. In my area the flights for that timeframe fill up fast!!

We're going President's Day week and the week before this coming year.

when you say you're likely to have one or two good waterpark days, you mean days that are really hot? or hot at all? Do you mean in February it won't be shorts and t-shirt weather??? or just that it might not be super super hot?

also, does Disney do anything for you on your birthday? I'm going to turn 44 that week in February! Just wondering...

We have been there both and presidents was better as far as crowds go. The weather wasn't as warm but the day we went to the water park in Feb.was better then the time we went in april, so you never know.

Do not go Easter Week. This past Easter was extremely crowded. Wait times for attractions were over two hours, and fastpasses were gone by early afternoon. President' Week is not usually real warm, but you never know about the weather. This past Easter we had days in the high 60's and low 70's.

We've done both week.s For the Presidents week the crowds are definetely lower. It got hot only during the day and not every day. I dont think that was typical though. My ds swam in the poly pool later at night and they got sick from the cold and coming back to the room. Also germs and viruses were every where. We had one ds throwing up and we were meeting a friend. They told us they cancelled because they spent that meeting day at the centre care with their dd who had an ear infection. We just did our first easter trip this year. It was crowded, really crowded, but doable. I had all the ps done etc. The ds refused to get up and do ee so that was their choice. I would suggest it as a must do if you have little kids. We enjoyed the late night park hours and the weather was cool and rainy sometimes, but it is so much more better than aug. Our family said they would love to do april again. Anything beats the cold and snowy north.
