:wave2: Hello!

Our wedding is set for July. There will be about 20 people and we'll be staying at AKL ( :yay: ) Our Wedding will be at Sea Breeze Point. Can someone help with the details on how long the ceremony / pictures take?

My problem is we would like to have dinner at BOMA, since we're already staying there. Dinner is buffet style so everyone can have what they want, it's relatively inexpensive, plus we can just come back to the hotel, change and wa-la we're there for dinner! Our wedding is at 3 p.m. but our dinner reservations are for 5:20 p.m. (only time they could get us seated together). Do you think we can all make it in time?? Any other suggestions? I suspect that only my soon-to-be husband :) and I will be running a little late (which would be fine), but just wanted to know the logistics on this. We're not doing any of the added photo packages because we're doing more pictures when we get back home.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you as always!

I recently spoke to my EM and asked her how long Intimate ceremonies typically take. Our ceremony is at Sunset Pointe to start at 2pm and she said that we should be finished by 3 or 3:30 at the very latest if the pictures take a little longer.

(I also know that there is a 4pm ceremony, so I guess we better be outta there by 3:30 at the latest!)

If the ceremony typically takes 1-1.5hrs, it looks like you'll have at least an hour to get to Boma after your ceremony.

Hope that helps!

we had our ceremony at 2pm (actually started about 10 mins early to try and beat the rain), we were in no hurry to rush the cake cutting as we were the last intimate of the day. we had ADRs for 5.30 at chef mickeys, but we were actually trying to pass time between the wedding and the meal, so your 2.5 hours should be more than enough.

Our Intimate was at WL Sunrise Terrace at 3:00. The ceremony was about 20 minutes long, then we took plenty of time with photos on the Terrace and the cake cutting, so maybe another 40 minutes or so? Then about an hour taking pictures all over the WL grounds. I don't know what time we finished, DH nor I bothered to look at a clock! We didn't have any time table though, and our Disney photographer said he could take as many pictures as we wanted.

I think, if your ceremony is at 3:00 and it runs on time, you'll be done with the cake cutting and the pictures by 5:00. If you're having dinner why not just do the ceremonial cake cutting and then have the rest boxed up and share it with your guests at the restaurant? That would be a great dessert and save time - no cake eating means more time for pictures!

Thank you. Sounds like we have plenty of time... one less thing to worry about :) Except now I'm rethinking the cake cutting and having our cake at the restaurant... more stuff to think about. :scratchin
